Topic: httpS problem and suggestion

New youtube app for Android send the shared video URL as secure https: rather than http:

I am using send2tv app to flingo video to my WDTVHUBLive. The only time it works is either I have to use old version of youtube app (which shares with http:), or manually remove the s from https: before sending.

My suggestion is that your API should either accept https: or recognize and replace https: by http: once received in a call

Just remove "s" from https before flinging. It works fine.

We noticed it happening in Chrome. Have you tried using Firefox or some other browser ?
Try to fling a video with https from Firefox, it works for us everytime. It doesn't work on Chrome.

We will post an update when we fix it.

Thanks!
